I am honoured to have attended Cannes Film Week, brought to Asia by the visionary and patron of the arts that is @adriancheng. Thank you for inviting me as the first Malaysian to the event and for the opportunity to connect with like-minded film enthusiasts, creatives and industry influencers! 🎥 The fact that Cannes was in Asia excites me because it not only puts the spotlight on Asian cinema, stories, arts, and culture but also celebrates it. 😃 At the same time, whilst laughing and crying throughout the film we watched that was entirely in French, I was reminded of why I love movies. The language of film is universal- it transcends cultures, generations, and identities, transporting and inspiring people around the world regardless of our differences. . #CannesFilmWeek #Cannes2019 #K11MUSEA #ThisMyMuse #SiliconValleyOfCulture
